Jax is currently on Iams Lamb and Rice (red bag). His weight is good, coat is okay, poops can be a little runny occasionally, but mostly firm. He's a little lackluster about eating it some days though. I've been doing some research into dog food and have come to find out that Iams isn't very good...
So what do I switch to for a dog that's somewhat picky, and seems to itch a fair amount? How bad is the Eukanuba Natrually Wild? The ingredients don't look as bad as the Iams? Any help appreciated.

It all depends on your budget. I've tried Kirkland puppy food (costco) and my pups poo was a bit softy and runny at times and alot so I didn't like that and switched to royal canin which is awesome! It's a bit pricey but well worth it! Her coat is soft n shiny, stiff poop, and doesn't have a bad smell like some other dog foods.

Well, I ended up going with the Blue Buffalo Large Breed Chicken and Rice formula. The guideline says for 70-100 pounds (Jax is 73) that they should get 3-3.75 cups a day. He's currently on 4 a day of the Iams, so we're mixing the two for a week or so to get him switched over. I was happy to see that he seemed more enthusiastic about eating his dinner tonight though. Hopefully the 'newness' doesn't wear off and he doesn't get bored with it.
