Is fish oil best? I have also heard that coconut oil works too.... Any thoughts?

If you can get pure, fresh lard that is best. I water render my own. Coconut oil has it applications for dogs and people with pancreatic problems but that it the extent of its value. The internet claims for dogs are not supported by experts. And too much fish oil is not healthy either.

You will see better skin and coat from the fats of land mammals.
