Pimg was on fish oil for the last two or three years. Compared to the coconut oil she is on now, it was more/less useless. Read this: Coconut Oil Is Amazing

the fish oil would provide an active form of omega 3 , which coconut oil, a functional oil does not . Coconut oil is a medium chain fatty acid great for instant energy and its anti-bacterial/fungal/viral/microbial properties . Coconut oil helps the immune system through supporting glandular health , adrenals, thyroid , liver . When given with food sources which provide complex vitamin E , the E is more easily absorbed . When given with food sources which provide alpha and beta carotenes , once again the benefits of the carotenoids are more easily absorbed .
Because coconut oil has a long natural shelf life, low oxidation , it is ideal to use with other oils, particularly the omega 3 rich oils such as fish oil , to help preserve and extend the shelf life . With coconut oil becoming so popular recently you have to watch tha the product you are buying is not hydrogenated . Bottom line - coconut oil has no omega 3's which are anti inflammatory , and nurish eye, brain and neural , and are important to counter balance the all too prevalent , inflammatory omega 6s. The oil I have available does have fish oil, hemp oil, and coconut oil - all in one. |

Oh yes. I had forgotten about Carmen's product. I used that on a foster dog with very good success. I can dig up that thread (which has before/after pictures) tomorrow. I think her product is called Sh-emp oil.
