Wow, that is expensive! And here I thought the Solid Gold Barking at the Moon 15 lb. bag at $38.99 was high. That's what I feed my dog -it is wheat free. I also give my dog a tablespoon of Arthoflex S.A. (also known as K-9 Arthoflex) that is a ground mussle vitamin joint supplement and the Omega Fish oil capsules and a probiotic powder. Arthoflex is also used for other small animals and big ones, like horses, so maybe something like that is available in your area or just a regular multi-vitamin for dogs. Plain yogurt could be given (my dogs loves it) if you can't get the probiotic. Ground almonds would also add nutrients and oils. Grinding or mixing in leftover cooked vegetables and chopped fresh lettuce would also supply the vitamins.
