Dog bones and treats

What kind of dog bones do you use with your GSD? I bought a pork bone from the store but Apollo has chomped on it so hard it broke in half in 5 min!

Mine love some meaty knee bones

Hero loves those ginormous Mamouth(sp?) bones. He loves it, just carrying it around (and trying to burry it in the couch). The only problem is he will bash you in the knees with it and drop it on your toes! Other than that he likes the Lickety stick which we use on walks and some training.

Frozen fresh beef marrow and knuckle bones from the local butcher, in moderation of course are a great treat in my house

Frozen raw knuckle bones, chicken quarters (Can substitute half of the dogs daily kibble when fed), pig feet (A favorite in our house!), turkey necks, turkey wings, ect. Everything with the exception of the knuckle bones will be completely eaten in one sitting so they're not "long term" bones but good for a nice chew, extra healthy nutrition when fed a highly processed kibble diet, good to help clean the teeth, ect. Knuckle bones I'll offer for an hourish when I need quiet time and they'll pull a lot of the meat off and then I'll take them up and refreeze. I only refreeze 3x max before they end up in the trash because they'll start drying out and get dirty plus by then the dogs have removed all the meat and even broken down the bone some so I take it up.

I only offer raw bones, the bones that are boiled/baked at the store can splinter and injure your dog. I feed them frozen so they last a little longer.
