Default Hi-Tek Grain Free Lamb? Or any other lamb based diet suggestions?

It's a food that my local family owned pet store started carrying. I try to stick to lamb based foods for Aiden because it's the only thing that doesn't seem to give him explosive diarrhea. Right now he's been eating a mix of Natural Balance L.I.D Lamb and Rice and Acana. This Hi-Tek is really affordable for me, so it'd definitely be worth it if it is in fact a good food. Has anyone had good experiences with it? I would feed Instinct Lamb, but the price really puts me off. I tried TOTW Lamb, but Aiden lost a ton of weight on it. The Hi-Tek has much higher protein TOTW and higher calories.

If anyone has any other lamb based food suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated!

Holistic Select Lamb meal is what I'm currently feeding. I done TOTW but dogs seem to do better on holistic select. Only drawback is it is a little pricey .The store where I buy my food carries Hi-Tek but I haven't read any reviews on it.

I use this:

Lamb Meal and Rice Dog Food Formula Dog Food

Viktor like it, and seems to be doing well on it, but I would welcome any comments.

Thanks for all the replies! I am leaning towards grain free foods, which weeds out a few of the suggestions. I really wish the Instinct wasn't so expensive here because I like that it has higher calories than the others. It's been a battle to keep weight on Aiden since he is so active and picky. Maybe I can mix the Instinct with the TOTW to save myself some money...UGH!

If you're having problems keeping weight on I wouldn't feed TOTW. All their formulations are fairly low in calories, so you'll have to feed a lot more, especially to keep weight up.

Yeah, that was my initial problem with it about a year ago. That's why I was thinking that this new food wouldn't be a horrible idea. Maybe I should mix the Hi-Tek with Instinct?
