A little taste is okay. But not too much as the skin is high in fat. Also- no cooked bones!

skin is ok as long as it is balanced with meat or bone. I personally don't feed much turkey skin or any. But chicken is fine. Dogs do need some fat, and there are benefits to skin.

BUT...if your dogs are use to just kibble, then I'd be concerned about messing up their digestive tract with cooked skin/cartilage. My dogs could handle it no problem.

what kind of stock? i "pressure cook"
a whole chicken for my dog. when it's done
i moosh (roll the chicken through my fingers)
and it all breaks down (sometimes we grind the mix) the bones become
grandulated but thicker and i feed the entire mix.
when the chicken is finished i add a little more water
and it makes 2 quarts. i freeze one. i use the mix
as a topping for his kibble.

I give my dogs stock and skin all the time and they're fine and dandy. If your dog is sensitive to fats then just be mindful of how much you give. But if your dog is pretty good about different foods then you should be fine. If your dog doesn't normally get anything besides dog food, you might want to give a little to make sure they can handle it and then add to it.

I don't worry it none with balancing things. My dogs get balance OVER TIME just like I do. A bit of skin & broth for a night or two with their dinner wont kill their overall diet, it's going to be a lot better for them than store bought treats you can buy.

And yes, my dogs ARE kibble fed. I just normally add extras here and there. We had a HUGE pot of beef stew last night...Guess what the dogs also got mixed in with their dinner? Yes...They're still alive. Eevee is even having zoomies atm. Lol!!!

Ok thanks, I just put a bit of stock and chicken with Chewys kibble food so all is ok. He still isnt eatting very well since he doesnt have Spinner here to make him have to eat his dinner/breakfast. But he eats when he gets hungry but not alot, leave some in the bowl.
He is still a happy boy we pay lots of attention to him and walk 3x's a day or go play with other dogs. Ok thaks for the info.
