I have no advice sadly but all I have to say is Aww!! Poor girl, sounds like she's had a really rough life.
I'd snatch her up in a heartbeat if I could! I have a soft spot for the older "puppies". I actually came across Chance when I had originally gone to animal control to pick up a 10+ year old (probably closer to 15-20 honestly - Looked about like Holly in the face/eyes) blind/deaf Chihuahua. (He'd been pts though by the time I got there so I adopted Chance. < 3) How can people be so cruel and just dump these dogs after so many years together? Breaks my heart!
