My middle dog (Shiba Inu, 4 y/o) has seemed to decide she doesn't like the limited ingredient, grain free food I've switched the oldest dog to. She's barely eaten for two+ days.
I'm not one to just switch foods, but I don't mind doing it. All three are fed seperately anyway, since #1 is on a diet and #3 is, for now, on LPB. So anyway, she's healthy as an ox, at optimum weight, never had any allergy issues, elimination issues, sickness, nothing. Considering she came home with parvo, she's the picture of health now. So if you had any choice for any food, taking into account budget and even availability, what would you go with?

Raw...I am fearful of the kibble recalls....or the ones that aren't being recalled. The breed doesn't matter.
BUT if I were to feed kibble it would be a limited ingredient from a small corporation that was hands on in production and distribution. Fromm?? |

I would love to feed raw, unfortunately, it's not feasible for me to do right now.
Ozzy gets Taste of the Wild. He likes the bison/venison formula. Didn't care much for the lamb. I'm thinking about switching him to a higher calorie diet, though. He barely eats 3/4 of a cup per day, and he's a bit thinner than I would like him at the moment. I was thinking maybe EVO.

We just feed the Kirkland Signature food. Small adult for dogs 20lb. and under, large kibble for the dogs over 20lb. Diamond Naturals is the equivalent if you don't have Costco or a Costco card.
2nd choice would be Taste of the Wild. |

I feed TOTW the bison formula. Sasha does really well on it and at roughly 70lbs eats about 2 cups a day. A 30lb bag lasts almost 2 months.
I would love to feed raw but I neither have the space (no deep freezer only a small on on my fridge) nor the money. I would also consider orijen; I've never tried it but I like the looks of it.
