Default Value Pick of the Week

Native Level 1, 2 & 3

NativeŽ Performance Dog Food | Home

At $1 - $1.25lb, less coupons, look at these as much better alternatives to Merrick, Innova, Wellness, Holsitic Select and many other rip-offs.

Take advantage of the marketing to hunters because they won't waste money on berries, herbs, nuts and useless ingredients.

Good food, excellent feedback. Excellent breeder program. Pro-quality food only in 40lb bags.

I might try a bag of it too. Not sure at this point. I have been considering switching a few of my girls to something different as a trial.

Any idea who manufactures it for them?

Level 2 & 3 are $40-$45, less coupons, for 40lbs.

$4 off coupons are easy to get for each bag.

I would not recommend Level 4 for any GSD unless it runs a farm all day or it is kenneled outdoors, still I would pause on that.

Level 2 would be ideal for any dog, Level 3 for younger, more active dogs.

Very solid product but beware that is has a very strong mushroom smell. You might think it is spoiled. It was made to be palatable to very tired hunting dogs which generally don't like to eat.

less $4, great deal.

The reason has to do with the target market for this food. Very demanding people with multiple dogs - pro-guides, trainers, breeders - who don't want useless ingredients in the food.

You can see by the website it is not marketed to the average pet owner. No pictures of Sunday dinner or a dog in a chef's hat.

I have a friend in the finger lakes that breeds and trains shorthairs and she just loves the program and the food.

I just ordered some for Rex. Should have it next week. $45/bag here everywhere I checked. I actually was able to get a local feed store to bring it in for me and match the prices I found elsewhere. Need to call about those coupons now! Hopefully it will help Rex gain back the weight he lost and keep it on.
Thanks again for the info Sable.

Almost thought about it, but the nearest retailer to me is 96 miles away...
