Default Popular Dog Food Calorie Contents

I just stumbled on this. http://www.petobesityprevention.com/..._Dry_Foods.pdf

I did a quick search and didn't find that this site or anything similiar has been posted. It's not complete but most of the brands and calories per cup are listed.

This is good information. We feed Joey the Royal Canin German Shepherd 24. He enjoys it.

Which leads to my question: how many calories should a 70 pound GSD eat per day?

It's interesting that the cheaper foods have almost half the calories of the premium foods.

Looks like I feed one of the highest calorie food out there. No wonder Balto won't lose weight. Unfortunately, we have allergy issues and he needs to eat that particular food.

Science Diet, for that it costs, is very low in calories.
