Hey all,

I have started adding the Proplan Sensitive Stomach and his poop looks better as of yesterday. I will let you know if it keeps getting better or if he reverts right back to the loose stool. I'm mixing it with the TOTW till he's had it for a week or so then I will be cutting his TOTW back also. He seems like he is depressed tho, he mopes around.... When were out or whatever he is his normal self but he just seem like his "old" self. He is 2yrs and 3 months now and is very excitable when we come home, or go out, he will work just fine he plays fine, eats all that stuff just seems like he's a bit down. I rescued another GSD a month ago today so I don't know if that has anything to do with it or what. Hopefully with the poop getting better he will start picking up more. My bf says he's acting normal, but I have an anxiety disorder so to me he's acting strange! lol bf is home all day also as he is layed off. So he would be able to tell if he was acting werid or not to.... I'll keep giving the food a try tho! and let you know how it is in a week! (He's been eating it for 4 days now mixed)

In my personal experience with Max, his personality changed for the better once the diarrhea and gut upset stopped. He gained weight, has more energy, has become playful and now just seems so much happier. We are even going back to training classes again now that he feels better.

Hey all it has been quite some time since this article. I thought I should post my findings and what we ended up doing about it.

He was tested for anything regarding his issues and nothing turned up. We did switch to the Proplan SS and he got the same itchy, red armpits and loose stool he previously had. SO Nixed that.

Went to the TOTW Fish based formula and it was better within two weeks. He was doing wonderfully. Then TOTW had big recalls and it was unavailable here so I just switched to another fish based product made in Canada. It was Acana and he is doing great on that.

I would recommend that to anyone. He is now almost 90lbs, no more than the odd loose stool and doing great. He loves the Acana Pacifica and has been on it for months now. Summer is usually his bad months (we have no AC or anything so the heat can get to them just like it does us)

SO with that he has been doing well and thanks everyone for your help
