Victor is an excellent food. My brother uses the Purple Bag on his Ridgebacks.

Very good value and high quality. Mid America is the manufacturer.

He pays less than $30 for 50lbs.

Looks excellent. A couple of the formulas have grain as the first ingredient instead of meat, but most of them have meat first and two or three types of meat.

I take it all back! I just saw it at a local feed/home store that only carries local or made in USA products. It looks good! If you're ever around stop by and say hi!

Looks like a good food, especially for the price. I'd much rather buy food from a small local manufacturer that uses USA-sourced ingredients than from a big corporation. Been doing some searching and lots of people are saying good things about this food. I might give this a try. What are you guys's opinions on sorghum vs. sweet potato as a starch source?

Sorghum is underutilized in the US mainly because it is exported to India and Africa where it is a common grain for people. Nutritionally is it like rice and corn, maybe closer to corn because it is mid-glycemic. It can grow anywhere even in desert climates.

When the fancy foods use it they call it Milo, which I guess sounds a lot better than Sorghum.

It makes for a firm stool like corn.

I'd love to get some, but no dealers in Maryland. Can't find an online store to have it shipped, either.
Any ideas?

There are plenty of other good high value foods in your area.
