4.5 Month GSD & 11 Week ASD

We picked up a 11 week old austrilain shepherd last night and our 4.5 month old gsd wants to rough house him pretty bad he gets to the point where he gets mad and he is jealous taking all the chew toys away. How long does it normally take to have them warm up or are there any tips on keeping them from getting into it over bones or food without feeding them at different times and places?

Our GSD "Bo" is good about being nice but the Aussie I think had to share food with a Yorkie and had to fight over it where we got him from so I'm hoping he will get out of that stage with a little effort.

Wow, you are going to have your hands full. I have never raised two puppies that close in age but maybe someone with more experience can chime in.

As far as keeping your GSD from rough housing, I would keep him on a leash and with me even in the house. Your Aussie is very young and getting tackled by such a large puppy could cause behavioral issues or injuries.

I got back from them playing 2 hours ago and they've been being very good with each other "worn out" lol. I just don't want any aggressive feeding habits and the whole stealing toys because they are jealous.
