My puppy seems to sleep all day?

He's 7 weeks old, just got him.

He fires around for like 20-30min, then will sleep for like an hour or so. He gets up, I take him out, he comes in, eats a bit, drinks a bit, spaz's around, then sleeping again. It almost seems like he sleeps 20 hours a day. Is this normal?

Been 13yrs since I had a GS puppy, but I remember my last dog not sleeping this much as a puppy.

Yes, I think it's common for very young pups to sleep a lot. Our last puppy would sleep about the same... Enjoy it, it won't last long lol

As long as he does get fired up and will play with you if you egg him on I don't see a problem with this. Just as long as he's not lethargic
