Default So very happy

My cat and my recently deceased Hunter were the best of friends. The cat would sleep on him, suck on his fur, just hang out together. When we brought Geist into the home, the cat vanished in the basement and would not come upstairs unless she was hungry. Well, today as I sit here the cat came upstairs and sat in the doorway staring the puppy down. The puppy went up to her really slowly and the cat hissed. The puppy decided to walk away. Well, a little bit later the cat approached Geist while he was sleeping and she was smelling him. Geist woke up and just looked at her and the cat licked him and walked away. I think we are making progress. Geist just seems to have the attitude of "whatever that is, not sure what to make of that creature" but he didn't do anything but walk away when Miss Meow hissed at her.
