Houston, we have a 7 month old!!

Hampton will be 7 months next week and has turned into a terror on 4 legs. Still great training and recall response BUT WITH talking back and an occasional "can I get away with it" snub. We do about an hour of ball chasing up and down the beach everyday plus one long and one short walk per day as its hot and humid now (Hilton Head Island). He does not get tired. At this rate, I'm convinced he sleepwalks too.

But through all this, he's at his healthiest and I couldn't be happier! Anyone else in sassy sevens with me?!?!

Hampton has it pretty good! Great looking pup and beach. We are in the sassy, vocal 9s.

He sounds a lot like my lovely Zelda! She is about 6 months but is always testing me to see what she can get away with, doing obediance with her has really helped and I am going to be taking her to some classes soon! I love dogs with reliable recalls, and am hoping i can have that with her!
Good luck on your kiddos sassy seven stage!

Nayru turned 7 months old a couple of weeks ago and has since turned into quite a terror. Shredding paper and tearing up the back yard in any ways she can. She runs 2 miles a day with me, plays fetch, hikes, goes to the dog park for one hour every weekend, and has a one acre fenced in back yard to run in. She gets plenty of exercise and socialization and yet still she just can't resist tearing up a piece of paper at any chance she gets. She has been corrected and in fact is always very guilty when you scold her for what she has done. I just don't know what to do anymore besides continue on the same path and hope she grows out of it like everyone is saying she will.

That looks like an ideal place for a dog walk, salt water aside. Our pup was tentative with water the very 1st time, now she likes splashing around in it.
