Default Runt of the litter?

I have a 9 (almost 10) female German shepherd, and she weighs about 54 lbs. she isn't too skinny, she's the good weight for her height (which is very short also). People always guess that she is 5 months instead of 10, and when I tell them she's almost 10 months they always assume she was the runt of the litter. One even asked me if she was a dwarf! I never got to see the other puppies because she was the last one chosen. At 8 weeks she barely weighed 10 lbs (still wasn't too skinny). Her dad is about 85 lbs and her mom 65lbs. Do you think she was the runt? The outcome doesn't really matter to me, I'm just mostly curious! Also how much bigger do you think she'll get? Thanks! I'll add a picture of her when we took her home. Fiona is 10 months old today and she is only 60 pounds. Her littermate sister is 55 pounds. I have been asked more than once if Fiona is a miniature German shepherd. I would say she is on the normal side.

I thought the picture of her was a recent one at first.

My 8.5 month old female weighs 50lb and stands 20" at the shoulders. Everyone on the board is telling me this is normal. If it takes 2-3 years for her to reach full maturity, I'm hoping that means she'll live longer.

I don't think being the runt has anything to do with it. Dixie was the runt in her litter and is 9 month's and 75 pounds (and yes, she is lean, the vet said she's perfect for her height). It's a genetic thing, and she'll be whatever size she'll be. She'll probably be within the breed standard, I wouldn't worry about weight, as long as she's healthy and happy that's all that matters
