clays colouring

just wondering if my boys coat colour will change any more just wondering as he is my first sable gsd he has changed so much in the last few months i think he is pattern sable correct me if im wrong any opinions would be great he is 8 months now also at what age do gsd's tend to stop growing some people say 1 year others say 2 or 3 years old im not sure because my first gsd was a rescue and he was already 4 years old and my second i regretfuly had to give up at about 9 months old (long and very sad story

He's a gorgeous boy. : ) He'll probably will be finished "growing" by the time he's 1 and a half, but he won't be finished filling out and maturing until he is 2-3 years old.
