Blanket changing to saddle?

Is my boy changing in to a Saddle do you think??. He's seven and a half months and the tan colouring has been coming through for just over a week.

How old is he? If he is still a puppy I would say that he will probably lose some of the black.

I think he will lose some black. Some dogs don't get their true markings until their second or third year, but saddle backs and black and tans usually get their true coat within the first year. This is what I've experienced at least.

He may lose some black but I don't think it will go into a complete saddle. Raina lost a little black but she is still mostly black except her chest and legs.

Here are some more pictures from yesterday, He is lightening up loads. Also i think he still has puppy fur on his sides and thighs.. am i right?.
Any new opinions?.

He'll get more tan but he's definitely not going to get enough to be considered a saddle back. Its very normal for more tan to show up over the thighs up to the age of 2-3.
