I took Lisl for a morning walk and ran into a dog that she had met on Saturday a few blocks from here.
She was on a tie out that reached to the sidewalk and Lisl and Charline saw each other before we were at her house. She barked a few times and her owner came out and I asked if Lisl could see Charline again and she said sure. This socialisation went much better than when my neighbor brough his K-9 partner over early last week. Lisl warmed up to Charline again and then the owner let her toy poodle out too. Looked like a coffee klatch right there on the sidewalk with all the girls. Lisl also got along well with the poodle, though she didn't know what to think of a dog that small at first. Charline is some sort of Schnauzer mix and is a very gentle dog. The poodle was a little more excited but didn't upset Lisl. After about 10 minutes we bid farewell and came home. I wish I'd had my phone or camera with me. If there'd been a fourth dog they could have played bridge.
