Pups Back Legs

I have recently bought a GSD she is 5 months. I have noticed the last couple of days, she is stretching out her back legs. There is no special time that she does it. This will happen 3 or 4 times a day. Is this a normal part of her growing. I would appreciate any input on this matter.

You mean when she is laying down? Normal for many of our pups.

Mine was a stretcher..she has slowed down a lot with it in the last month or so. She is now 16.5 months.

Our boy is 13 weeks old and does this all the time. Looks funny on a long puppy like a GSD though

My GSD is 5 months also. He seems to stretch his hind legs out too. I also have an 8 year old collie and a 5 year old chihuahua they both stretch their hind legs. I think it is totally normal for all dogs.

Not when she is lying down. When she is standing, and sometimes when she is just walkin.

Not an expert on dogs, but I have seen anything from birds to cats to turtles doing this all day at any time.

It's quite normal mine usually stretch the back legs then lean back and stretch the front legs

When she gets up?
Like after a nap? That's normal. If in doubt, ask your vet
