Default Question about the growth of my puppy

Hey, I had been searching google for some information on the average numbers for an American bloodline line GSD puppy. Does any one know of some good websites just so I can see how she stacks up? Thanks in advance. Btw my pup is 6&2/3 months old, female.

What exactly do you mean?

Do you want to know if her height and weight are normal for her age?

Yes. I forgot that she is 55 pounds too. I'm looking for a website that gives numbers for different lines of GSDs. I have found some sites that give really broad answers. I'm specifically looking for the measurments and weight an American show line GSD. Thanks

I don't think you're going to find that. The SV (German) has an acceptable height and weight range, which is quite broad. The AKC has a height standard, but I don't believe they mention anything about weight. Even if they did, that would only be the range that dogs are SUPPOSED to fall into to meet the standard, not the actual average of what dogs actually ARE. Many GSDs out there, of all lines, do not fall within the standard range.

I really don't think you should worry about it. Just make sure he's an acceptable weight for his size, which is going to be determined by looking at his overall condition, not the numbers on a scale. His height is going to be what it is, based on his genetics.
