my boy just turned 3 month and started to change fur last few day ..
he is all black , and we can clearly see and line of new fur more black and thick on his back .. also 2 spot on the tail ... the problem is since then , he started to bite the front/behind paws and the back . like if he was feeling itchy . im a bit paranoid cause my last dog had severe food allergie and had lot of fur problem cause he was biting himself ... but Enzo is actualy my second dog so i dont know if its normal for that age to bite himself because of that fur changing ny clue ? |

I'd make sure nothing else was going on. Maybe a bath with an oatmeal shampoo and then comb out the dead fur.
You may also want to up the exercise and fun training plus socialization. Many dogs just start scratching and biting themselves cause they are bored bored bored. So you can head off the start of a bad habit by replacing boredom with fun stuff with you.
