hey all. i was just wondering, when i look at ava some of her black fur on her body has a reddish tinge to it, she is almost 10 weeks. now straight across her back the black is pure black. it is really smooth too. the other fur is kind of the puppy fluff. how much do they lighten?

Most of the time the "reddish tinge" is dead hair.
On black areas especially...the dead hair can and does change color....red, brown, grayish...etc.. That shiny, sleek black hair is new growth. Your puppy is changing from it's first coat.
