Default Well it finally happened...

I took Kopper in to the vet this morning to find out why he's been limping. I put him on the scale and it said 45lb. Another lady in the waiting room asked how old he was. When I told her 5 months, she said, "Hopefully they can find out what's wrong with him. My brother's female Shepherd is 90lb at six months."

After she left, the receptionist and I just rolled our eyes.

Oh boy... 90 pounds at half a year... that is disgustingly oversized.

I love "one uppers". And people that speak and have no idea what they are talking about...

Hope Kopper is okay...

I can't count how many times that has happened to me at the vet's office! It must be some right of passage of sorts for standard GSD owners.

good point.... i think people tend to throw shepherds all in the same catagory breedwise sometimes.

My in-laws have an Anatolian. He's 125lb as an adult. I don't think a female Anatolian should be 90lb at six months either.
