Default HSUS Humane Society Charity Rating Revoked

I'm not sure if this applies to the National HSUS or only the one in California.

the ads are sickening...all those sad looking animals playing on your heart - all to fund nothing but the officer's wallets!

Now if PETA can only be discredited very very publically....

just yesterday heard radio discussion about revisiting Wills written many years ago to make sure they still reflect your intentions.
I'm cynical on some of these charities exploiting the dear hearts of the elderly. One elderly person was charmed or guilted into signing away her entire estate of over $600,000 .

Crazy, and I thought most of their money was going to lobbyists, which in a round about manner would be helping critters. But, investing in other countries? Really?

Well, it's about time they are revoking something. I hope they are revoking the whole - non profit status, and I wish that they actually had to put their money where their marketing is. If they show you starving, ill dogs on their brochures, then at least 50% of their intake should be going to alleviating that problem.

Instead it is going to salaries and out of the country investments, and of course, lobbyists. It's scandalous, and I don't see how it does not qualify as fraud.

He is, and hopefully he doesn't have his estate go to that organization...though his $ is always going for the AR's, many of which are extremely radical

"But, investing in other countries? Really? "

they are not investing in other countries . Cayman Islands are well known tax shelters --

Had a recent expose very similar "Acquiring monthly donors is expensive work up front that charities hope will pay off as each year goes by. For example, in 2005 new monthly donors brought in to Sick Kids earned the charity $4 million. But the cost of acquiring those doors was $3.5 million, leaving the charity just over $500,000 in actual contributions. What Sick Kids is banking on is that these donors will stay on, because the charity will keep all of the money they donate the next year."

pretty incredible !
