Default Article About Service Dogs and the VA

This is an article about two subjects that I find very interesting and I support, Veterans and Service Dogs. I posted to the comments after the article, and I hope some of you might also find it worthwhile to let your feelings be known too. (as fredlinn)

I think it would be a good thing to let our gratitude and support be known it getting this program up and running. I think it can be a lot of help for both veterans and dogs alike. It works, I know it works because I've seen it working. And I've been involved in some small ways in helping my fellow vets and their dogs resolve some problems they were having.

It feels a little embarrassing to me to admit it because I actually did so little---but the reception and thanks I received in return from both vets and dogs was SO out of proportion to the little bit that I did.

This is a great group. They are who I worked through when I donated Donovan to his veteran.

It does work. The changes in Donovan's person have been tremendous. These dogs literally save these vet's lives.

WOW. I had no idea that Donovan came from you. Thank you Lisa.

Mike sure is crazy about that dog!

The experience has also changed my life. I had NO idea how much he would mean to Mike. You can guess, but until you actually experience the changes you have no idea. The difference in Mike between when I talked to him the first time and now is dramatic. Donovan is also helping alert him to when his blood sugar levels are too low since Mike is also diabetic. That was an added bonus.

There is a tremendous need for these dogs, but not enough of them.

While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, john and his friend sally both spotted a dalmatian inside a truck with sirens, headed to put out a fire. State what the 2x4 is made of.
