I sooooo wish I would have heard this earlier so I could have said it to every priest/minister that turned us down when we mentioned we wanted a dog in our ceremony!

And Adam asked the Lord..."Thou has asked me to name each of the animals one by one and this I have accomplished save one. I find this to be difficult as this one follows me everywhere, sleeps by my side through the night, is ever so happy, ever so patient and has become a companion of constant faith. Oh Lord thy God, I have no name to befit such a wonderful creation."

And the Lord replied. "Need you ask such an easy question? To thee I have given such a creature for in this wonderful animal I have laid my best traits."

And Adam replied. "I could not call him God my Lord, that would be a blaspheme would it not?"

And God replied. "Adam? What is my name spelled backwards?"

"Why....Dog my Lord." Adam said.

"Then Dog it shall be. So that by this, you will always know that I am not far away."

You can't put a price on such dedication and loyalty than this wonderful and faithful friend.
