Default Animal Rescue in NJ closing due to Sandy. Animals NEED placement ASAP!

Reposting from another forum:

Sayerville New Jersey animal rescue center is closing on DEC 31 due to sandy. They don't know what to do with the animals and are giving them away for free. They are going to euthanize the ones they can't save. The animals all have their shots. Free adoptions! Spread this! Help these animals out, they deserve a home. their number is 732-727-3895 NJ peeps please help.

I didn't put this in the Rescue folder, since I honestly do not know what breeds they have in this rescue. I know many of you have contacts with other rescue groups and people. If you think you can reach out to another group or individual to help these pets, please contact the Sayerville NJ Animal Rescue ASAP.

THIS IS TO ASSURE EVERYONE THAT NO ANIMAL WILL BE LEFT BEHIND OR EUTHANIZED IF THEY ARE NOT ADOPTED BY THE 31ST. WE WILL STILL BE TAKING APPLICATIONS FOR ADOPTIONS AFTER THE 31ST EVEN THOUGH THE SHELTER WILL BE OFFICIALLY CLOSED. ANY ANIMAL THAT DOES NOT FIND THEIR FOREVER HOME WILL GO TO OTHER RESCUES.

It's so heartbreaking. I've been seeing stories on the news trying to rehome displaced pets, even rabbits.
