So very sad, K9 Reno was a true hero. From the brief description it sounds like Reno had heminagosarcoma.

So sad for the officer. This was a really strong bond, and K9 Reno sounds as if he was everything a K9 should be-- fierce at work and a sweet pet at home.

I loved this shot of the officer really enjoying the TEETH of his trusty companion. A man who truly loved his dog.


And, yes, it sounds like the evil hemangiosarcoma.
