That's horrible! Something like that happened recently in my area. They shot the dog about 20 times with a BB gun in the dog's own backyard.
How can people be so cruel

I am getting way too cynical.

So, this rescue had this dog and adopted him out? Now they find he dog beaten and shot.
Their was no call to report the dog missing? So why are we not hearing that the police have arrested the owners of this dog?

My boyfriend told me serial killers are known for abusing animals before people. There should be stiffer penalties for hurting animals, even the people who don't like animals should understand that if someone can torture a loving dog, what will they do to a person next?

How can a person do this to any animal? Animal abuse needs to be time in prison and not just a slap on the wrist. I also agree that it all starts with the torture of animals.
