I couldn't imagine being that women going to photograph those poor dogs. She is such a kind person. I don't understand how someone could just "throw away" a animal after so many years. How could they live with themselves. Sure it can be a pain to care for a senior, get over it or if its that bad talk to the vet but to put an animal in the shelter because it's too old or sick.
I definately have a soft spot for seniors, specially when I look in my guys eyes they break my heart.

this is a merciless act to send a senior dog to the shelter house. its like treating with toys, play them keep them and when its time to take an extra care buy a new one.

What a wonderful story!

When I adopted my cat a few years back, there was the cutest older couple there adopting an older dog. They got talking to me and said in dog years, their ages were about the same as the dog, so they figured it was a good match.

They were so sweet, it was so heart warming to see that old dog get to live out it's days in a wonderful loving home.

Great, now I'm sitting here blubbering like an idiot.
To know this sweet girl will spend the rest of her days surrounded by loving caring people (and dogs) is so heartwarming.

I can't begin to believe there are people that are so heartless to just throw away an old dog like garbage.
Makes me sad to know there are people like this in the world. I have some choice words for people like this, but I can't say them without getting banned.

I hope Sunny lives a long(er) and happy life with her new family, who will be there for here when her time comes.
