It sounds like we really don't know what happened. Not enough information. There are only 9 dogs there? Anyone can properly care for nine dogs. Why did they take one? We really don't know.

Stealing a dog out of someone's yard though, yeah, she should go to jail for that. I wonder if this is similar -- the one they took. But, that wouldn't be animal cruelty it would be theft.

In any case, all we can really do is guess. So we kind of have to wait for the story to develop.

First of all, my comments I'm going to make in no way are to detract from the organization in question, I think the work she and the organization have done is beyond the scope of many similar organizations, however I remember the case when the dog was taken and my opinion at the time was, yes maybe the dog needed someone to intervene on it's part, but it should not be the head of a national organization, doing so could put other dogs needing help in jeopardy within the organization. Having said that, Ms. Thayne is not someone who shies from controversy - at least from what I have read and seen and her convictions, right or wrong are enviable, the lengths she will go to for the strength of her convictions. But rescue is very political, over the years look at what has been done to good rescuers on this board by others who were jealous. Mind you, there have been some pretty disgusting things revealed too, but there have been innocents persecuted and not all of it was done in the best interests of the dogs, there were political reasons too.
It will be interesting to see this play out and learn more.

This is Tammy Grimes, her conviction in 2007 for dog theft was very close to where I live. Very strange she's being charged with something she fought so persistently here in Pennsylvania.

Actually this fight goes way back. A group called Bring Joel Home that was started by an ex volunteer of DDB is most likely behind the allegations.

This group has been slinging mud at DDB for awhile now. I stumbled upon it after I found out that DDB was moving into Vick's old place. Is there any truth to it? I have no idea. I do no DDB has been helping me to try to find a way out for the dog that my crazy co worker has living on a chain and they have been really great.

DDB better posted on their FB today that the dog that was confiscated has to be returned to them today by 5pm.

They also have numerous pictures of their dogs and the living quarters and none of them look abused or mistreated. They even allowed the TV cameras in the house the day the search warrant was issued and the news even admitted that the place was clean and well kept.

Who knows what is going on?

There are many problem with german shepherd like alergic problem,
my dog is face this problem many time in this season.any one have any Idea for
the gilty desease then share wiht me. my dog is so good and beautifull but due
to this reason I am very worried.his there are so many rashes at his skin.....
