It is so sad that Pits have gotten such a bad rep. We had a Pit Bull that lived down the street from us several years ago. It was the dog of my daughter's friend. She was 3 when they met. This is probably the ONLY dog on the face of the earth that I would trust my 3 year old alone with. It was the most gentle, loving dog I've ever known!! He used to get loose from their back yard and come scratch on our front door to be let in! He would come in and be a perfect gentleman! The kids would ride him, tackle him, and he just loved it. I seriously loved that dog!!!
