Emaciated German Shepherds among dozens of animals rescued from cruelty situation

Thirteen dogs including several GSDs were rescued from a couple's home:

What can I say? Its shocking. Just as shocking is that 25 of the 41 charges against these 'people' have been dropped.

What excuse can there be for dogs to be in such a horrific state? How do you walk past a dog day after day and not see that they are emaciated, sick, in trouble? I just cannot believe that a couple would deliberately starve animals to death. Can you really train your brain not to register that level of filth, smell, starvation, dead animals in the house -- that is sick. Seeing your dog starving to death -- that is sick too.

I don't consider this couple humans. They don't deserve any charges dropped.

They deserve to be charged with what they did, not less and not more. If there was a reason to go from 41 to 25, I don't know, I was not in the courtroom.
