i've heard of it! They tried training a dog to do it in a couple places but so far this is the first case i've heard where the training went through and worked. Its supposed to be a great deal harder to do than scent work training though i couldnt begin to tell you since it IS scent work. They did an article on in when i was in high school. I'm horrible at archive searches but i'll ask my grandma is she can find the article.

Okay, after reading the article, the title is misleading. But that is how they get you to read the article. I am guessing, the dog detected the sperm scent at the scene of the crime. The sample was collected and matched with a suspect. The dog didnt sniff the guy out. It is sad that they even need a k9 trained to find sperm.
