So I was just looking through some doggie news articles.
I found this one rather amusing... Serves the guy right.... For taunting a police dog...!![]() Man cited for barking at police dog - US news - Weird news - msnbc.com

People like him are why I could never be a LEO. I would of opened the door and let the dog they got all pissed off have at it and take some of the pent up energy the man built up.
I also have not seen the metal like that over the back windows on the K9 car is that all that common, or is it a newer thing. If memory serves me right the K9 units around here don't have that. Guess I will have to take a look. |

Every State is different, but in MN there is a law about taunting K9's and service animals. I agree though, I'd have loved to let my dog at a few people who thought that was funny.

wildo, I think that's the British accent....(j/k)
What an idiot. But, I've had guys ride up on bicycles barking staring her down while she was in a nice sit waiting for the lights to change to a walk signal. *sigh* It's good training, it always seems to be a certain cultural group, (that do moronic things like this in my neighborhood) so now my dog thinks these members of a certain cultural group are like mentally handicapped. My boss said once that I should let her go at him, but I haven't trained her to do a "guard" or "bark and hold" It would be funny though, if anything to watch the idiot fall off his bike. |
