I saw this earlier, I would have been happier if he got longer time. Maybe a year for every month that, that poor pup starved to death..... :-(

This is dispicable. I cannot see how any sane human being could be so cruel. I feel the sentence should be MUCH longer.

So strange that he kept his K9 partner is good condition but let his own dog suffer. I wonder what goes through peoples heads sometimes.

Sheesh that's awful. When I worked for the humane society, we had a dog there that had been removed from an AC officers home after he had beat to death his other dog. He had been using the dogs as "an example" to his kids; When the kids were bad he would say "see what I will do to you" (Allegedly)

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away.

Horrible! The picture of that dog made me cry, I can't imagine how much the poor thing suffered while he starved to death. What is wrong with people?

I don't get it. Why did this guy get the dog in the first place? Just so he could torture it to death?

This is devastating. It makes me completely sick. The only comfort I can find in this is the response from other members of the forum. Their reaction to such awful tragedies reminds me that their own german shepherds or any animal for that matter is well treated and living a good life.
