WOW!!!! Now I am really glad I rescued Sasha off Craigslist.
I often warn people about giving their puppies away because around
here they use "bait dogs" to train the fighting dogs. This is worse..well it is just awful...I just hate how cruel humans are!
I am glad all 4 of my dogs have forever homes, even when I am frustrated.

I saw that~ sick, sick sick...you never know when people give you a good song, dance and money. I hope he gets his deserved punishment. Wait, there is nothing that can compare to what he did to that poor woman and all those animals.

OMG I feel for the poor girl! She had to watch all that and was abused herself. I can not even begin to imagine how this has messed with her head. I am just sick about this whole thing.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away.

Too bad he did not resist arrest and get what he deserved, now the taxpayers will be paying for him.

Not only did the woman suffer, the poor pups suffered and died, and the people who innocently gave him their puppies thinking they were going to a forever and loving home will also suffer because they handed over the pups to him.

I am a FIRM believer in eye for an eye. I would love to form a group that has the power to punish as we see fit those that abuse animals. This worthless POS would suffer very badly for the rest of his short pathetic life. I might even consider doing it in public to deter the next guy. People like this make me absolutely sick and should be taken care of in the slowest most painful manner possible.
What are people thinking?

We got Jakey free off of Craigslist. Unlike the weirdos, I posted an ad looking for specific personality traits. Most of the weirdos just "want a dog". Also, when I met Jake's previous owner, I talked to her for almost 30 minutes, getting as much info as possible on his habits, likes/dislikes, etc. Once I was satisfied, I took him home, made a vet appointment, got him checked out, then emailed the original owner to tell her all went well, and she was sent a few followups to let her know Jake was in good hands.

I am uncomfortable with re-homing fees personally. I understand there is a risk, but the risk is there either way. My thought, especially with Jake, (lady never asked for rehoming fee, she just wanted to feel comfortable) I took him to the vet, had to get him fixed, renew his shots, not to mention two days into having him, he chased a cat in the backyard and tripped on an exposed tree root & sprained his hind ankle, all which came to a few hundred there by itself.
