Huge thumbs up, I took out a few minutes and sent emails to the Parole board about this matter. Glad they did this!

Perhaps the guy was so drunk he didn't realize. He at least appeared very upset about his dog. Don't know what will come of charges. |

Woohoo!
That story made me physically ill. That poor dog who had no voice. I can't even imagine doing something so deliberately cruel. As a kid, no matter how mad I got at my parents, it never occurred to me to hurt another person/animal. My thought process never worked that way. It's why I'm glad they are being so tough. What that man did is NOT normal. He deserves to be locked up.  I'm kind of surprised that they denied him parole considering it is Alabama...lol. I'm pleasantly surprised. |

OMG, what a gruesome crime! I hope he never gets paroled and serves the entire 9-year sentence!
This story reminded me of Buddy the GSD mix who was dragged behind a pickup truck until he died. This happened in Colorado. It was another horrific crime. I did a web search to see if there were any updates. Looks like the driver of the pickup truck only got 3-years.
