I thought this was interesting that more and more companies are allowing employees to bring pets to work.

When Anna was a pup I took her to the office. It was great! She just layed behind my chair and chewed on a bone. People would stop by, say hello and it brought a smile to everyone's faces.
I think pet workplace policies are great!!

The comment i heard the most was:
"Wow, she's so well behaved. Moreso than most people's kids they bring up here" I agree...other coworkers kids run up and down the halls and scream. Anna just lays there. I may have to pass the guidelines over to my HR girl...or just take Anna up again.

Branca used to come with me and now Urro does. My biggest problem was the shedding.
Everyone loves the dogs, if someone was having a stressful day they could come by and love on them to make themselves feel better. Luckily we never had walk in customers, I can see how that could be a problem if someone had customers coming and going that you might get some that might be afraid of dogs or whatnot.

We aren't allowed where I work and it stinks. But it is a job.

My 2 GSDs go to work with me every day. They have changed perceptions of many people about the breed. People are always commenting how well behaved and sweet they are. They are both rescues, one just last December. Customers are allowed to bring well behaved dogs to our shop. 99% of our customers love the dogs. Some call to make sure they will be there. On the rare time someone is scared or allergic, I put them in the break room. I wish there were more dog friendly places.
