Default 26 Month Old Male

Best movement shot I have, just took it today while we were jogging. Apologize for the poor quality.

Very darkly colored male with good withers, dip behind the withers. I would like to see a smoother line between the loin into the slightly steep croup that should be longer. Very good angulation in front. His rear is not balanced with his front though he doesn't look like he moves badly. Good pasterns and feet. Looks like he may stand east/west in front and the moving photo also suggests this.

Thanks everyone

Lisa, thank you for your critique. He does stand east/west and is cow hocked as well. As far as his withers go, there is a patch of wavy fur right above his withers, and I think it both makes his withers appear better than they may be (I don't know how to see the good vs. the bad) and exaggerates the dip. I do know that the wavy fur is counted as a fault, correct?

Could you (or anyone else) elaborate on his rear not being balanced with his front? Is it a matter of insufficient rear, a steep and short croup, or...? Thanks again. Learning a lot!

It is probably the high tail set and the steep croup that make it look very short thus making his rear look like it belongs on another dog. Not balanced with the rest of his body.

I'm no expert (by any stretch) but I think his rounded croup makes his rear appear to have more angulation while his front is straight so they don't match. He is a little east-west but not so much in the first 2 pics. He has a real masculine head which makes his ears seem small. This is all IMHO, certificate of judgeship is in the mail :-)
I'd be happy to call him mine.
