Default Looking for a Breeder near VA

All,

A few months ago, we lost our nine year old WGW GSD to cancer. I am currently looking for a good breeder located near Virginia. We are interested in a working line dog (I like DDR) who will be a member of the family. I have three small kids (all under five), so temperament is my number one concern.

I have heard good things about Blackthorn and am planning to visit with them. Any other suggestions for my area?

Additionally, I would also be interested in a young adult if it fit in well with my family.

Blackthorn/Christine is who I would talk to. She has excellent experience and knows her dogs. She also works her dogs and doesn't just make puppies. I am not familiar enough with any of the other breeders in that area.

I really like Christine, I've been a Facebook friend and member of her Blackthorne group for a while now and have been happy with what I've seen

Definitely look into Blackthorn/Christine. She is pretty awesome and has great dogs, can't go wrong with her.

Sounds like a plan. I emailed her today and asked for suggestions from her upcoming litters and a good time to visit
