Default Found Breeder, now having 2nd thoughts

Its been along time since I have posted, but I have been a lurker.
I was looking for a new pup. I knew I wanted WL. Found a breeder about2 hours from me. Mama dog was preggo. Sire is Danger von Juliet.
Mom is an import, OFA, but no titles.
The breeder requires a $200 deposit, pups cost $1500. DH gives the breeder $500 and we were promised pick of the litter male.
A week later, Mama has her pup. Yep, a singleton. This has me worried.
The breeder has another litter on the ground, which is 5 days younger than mine. She won't put my pup with the others, nor any of the other pups with mine.
My pup is now 3 weeks old. I am being sent pictures on a regular basis.
I have asked if my pup is walking yet, and also asked for a short video of him walking.
I just have a bad gut feeling. If I back out of this deal, would I be able to recoup any of my monies?
I want a healthy, stable pup.
Sorry this is so long, but I would appreciated any feed back.

If the breeder has a good track record of producing solid, workable, sane dogs, I would not worry so much about the dam not being titled - I have seen Danger work and liked him alot.

The pups are too young to let socialize together....maybe at 5-6 weeks, when mom is not as concerned and wants away from them, she can let him with the other pups.

If you decline the pup, what does your contract say? Since her required deposit was $200, and you gave her $500.....I would ask for the difference of $300 to be returned if you decide not to take the pup.

Question

What I am worried about is the development of the pup, being a singleton. Both physically and socially. That's why I asked if he was walking yet. At 3 weeks he should be up and about, and all the pictures I have received are of him laying down.
I am real excited to be getting a pup from Danger von Juliet though.
I think too much time waiting is driving me a bit nutso, too much to think about.

While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, john and his friend sally both spotted a dalmatian inside a truck with sirens, headed to put out a fire. State what the 2x4 is made of.
