Default need advice on this breeder

I talked to the owner and he was very helpful in what I was looking for and asking me what I was looking for in a GSD. He has a little coming up from Zicke and Tschako. Here is a link to the kennel. Alte Baum Kennel | Mike Williams - (515) 955-4801

Any info on the breeder or the parents pedigree would be helpful.

Thanks

I've not purchased a dog from Mike but I have seen him compete at a lot of trials and regionals. He has well trained dogs and knows what he is doing.

He is a quality individual that's been in the sport for many years. He is also the owner of CPN.

If I were in the market for a dog I would hope to be dealing with someone like Mike.

Mike is a great guy to talk to but I am wondering if his dogs would be a little over the top for what I am looking for. I have no desire to compete in SCH any more but I am looking for a family pet "I have a 9 year old daughter" but I also want to be able to do advance obedience and agility with the GSD.

Within "high drive" litters there will usually be a range of temperament. Not every GSD, working or not, will excel in sport. Tell Mike what you're looking for if you haven't, and let him tell you whether he has a pup for you. He's the expert.

He did ask and I did tell him. He said he is expecting pups on the ground in about 3 weeks and will evaluate them at I think he said 6 weeks of age to see what he will have as far as temperament and such. Plus since I now live in Omaha, Ne he is only 3 hours away from me
