Default Trying to find a breeder - Soon to be first time GSD Owner

Hello everyone!
I am looking for a reputable GSD breeder in Southern California. I want a companion dog and am not looking to compete in any shows or competitions. I just want a healthy, obedient, and loyal companion. The only breeder I have come across is West Cost German Shepherds, but only via the website.

Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know the site you posted, but if your open to options, have you considered rescue, here is the link to one in southern California
Coastal German Shepherd Rescue, Adopt puppies in Orange County and All of Southern California I do know people that have dealt with them and say they are fantastic.

if Oregon isn't too far for you I recommend TeMar shepherds in Canby. they have a facebook and website you should check out. some gorgeous animals from impeccable bloodlines. her male Zeager is used as a stud for kennels all over the PNW.

I have considered adopting from a rescue but I have decided to go with a breeder, I would rather not get into rescue vs breeder in this thread.
I would like a breeder in Southern California, I am located in Los Angeles and am willing to drive up to 150 miles.

I work with a breeder in the schutzhund club I'm training with right now. She is the president of the club and is located in LA. Pm me if you would like her info.

Sorry Pasta, it was just a suggestion I wasn't getting into one vs the other. Good luck on your search
