Default Berghund Kennel?

Has anyone ever heard of Berghund Kennels? If so, does anyone know if they are reputable. I came into contact with one of the trainers there and seems very proud of his dogs and we are currently looking into Otto who is for sale there. Can anyone see any red flags or issues? First time German Shepherd buyer and just seeking some assistance!

Hi don't know the kennel, have only heard of N. Georgia K9 academy here and there...don't know them.

I do have a suggestion though...

Since you are interested in Otto my suggestion would be to contact the kennel and find out about his pedigree (sire/dam) post that here and the pedigree knowledgeable folks could give you more insight about him in particular. They don't have much information on their web page.

Also I noted they said Otto has 'extremely' high play and prey drive. As a first time GSD buyer is this something you were looking for in your dog?

DO NOT POST IN THIS... it's a double post and more responses in http://www.germanshepherds.com/forum...nd-kennel.html

I'll try to get the two melded (not in my powers).
