Breeder Sexists?

I read this article What is a Breeder and it explains that there are many more women breeders than men. Didn't notice it as much. However, questioned a lot "is it me or are there more women breeders than men breeders"? Actually came to realize more that it does seem a little sexists. That is ridiculous in that sense.

You need to look up the definition of sexist...

A pattern of a certain gender picking a profession is not sexist. Sexist would be if I only bought dogs from male breeders or female breeders based on the fact that they are that particular gender.

If you knew anything about the dog world, and read less internet articles, you'd realize that its dominated by women. Women outnumber men at least 10 to 1 at shows/trials/ect. So its only natural that most breeders would be women.

Well, think about it from a biological standpoint. Women are sorta pre-wired from the factory to raise and nurture, it's been a successful blueprint for survival for along time running. Once the kids are grown up and out of the house those nurturing proclivities seek a re-purposing...or other such similar circumstances.

*caveat*

I'm not saying that barefoot and preggers is the proper or correct path for everyone. I'm simply referencing what has typically been the norm for humanity.

Never cook bacon while naked.

@martemchik

At night I read internet articles when my day is done. When my day is full I spend my time with dogs and constantly looking for learning. Would love to go to dog shows already have looked up some.
