get to know the breeder - have conversations -- what is their track record , and by the way you may not believe in shipping but dogs and pups do fly out every single day -- from Europe, and all across the USA and Canada. Driving to a destination limits your selection .

I worked in an airport and have seen how the airlines treat dogs. You might not see it upon arrival but I would not put a dog through this. One arrived dead, some were bleeding through the eyes or ears, and many other stories which are not pleasant.
